Missing old days? Finding a good place for a good cup of kopi or teh with friends and family? Good kopi not enough.

Let me introduce this mouth watering Nasi Ayam Merah. The best part is the rice is well flavoured with santan. We even tambah nasi after first serving since there are still some kuah. The chicken is not very spicy so those who can’t take too spicy is a good news. The kuah is perfect with the rice….em…yum…yum…

A cup of CHAM (kopi + teh) definately a good company with slices of toast with kaya and butter.

Looking for some western treats in an old shop??? Don’t worry, you will find this, Hainanese chicken chop. One big slice of deep fried chicken accompanied with tomato gravy and krinkle fries nicely placed in the middle of the plate. What do you think? Good? I prefer thicker sauce base. The sauce is a bit watery for me. haha….

Hallo…………………to all Japanese food fans out there. Japanese cuisine is always my favourite. Pei Ling, Khai Nee n Me went for feast at this japanese buffet restaurant known as Shogun (Jiang Jun in mandarin) at One Utama, New Wing. We think is an good offer so wanna intro to all my friends especially jap food lovers.

Looked delicious right? haha…. there are various types n UNLIMITED of jap food here, ranging from sushi, tempura, teppanyaki, soup, dessert n other chinese n western food. They not only looked good but yummy yummy actually…. haha…. Dunno where n how to start off the party. Why not start w one small bowl of hot miso soup to warm up your stomach?? I like to add lots of seaweeds n small cubes of taufu. There are a wide selection of fresh sashimi n sushi….. maguro, salmon, white tuna already on the counter waiting for you. Can’t take too much of raw food. Walk to sushi counter beside to enjoy more than ten types of hosomaki, futomaki, temaki.

Wanna try some baked seafood? Maylee favourite escagort baked with cheese and garlic. Em… a bit disappointed as the garlic is too much.. However, the baked scallops and mussels are good. There are other delicacies like prawn, slamon, brinjal, straw mushroom tempura constantly deep fried by chef at the other side of counter ready to eat. Traditional japanese soya sauce or western mayonaise as condiment is your choice. Beside the tempura station, why not select some fresh ingredients for hot teppanyaki like mushroom, bean sprouts, red pepper, thin sliced of beef? Hmmm….mm…..Just imagine the chemistry effect of all the ingredients being combined together.. Wala…. juicy and tender beef teppanyaki. But, if the beef slices can be thinner, it would be perfect. haha….

The restaurant is very huge and spacious. It is very comfartable even for big group of friends. Hot or cold cha is being refilled throughout the meal to wash away fat. hehe… Oh ya… almost forgotten to introduce some of the dessert. Fruits, nyona kuih n konyaku jelly are available for selection… Don’t afraid to treat yourself all the sweet delicacies. Almost left out the ice cream althought is Nestle but is better than nothing. I only try the green tea ice cream. Last time, I tried one better so this is not my type. hehe…. too demanding.. paiseh!!!
